India vs USA T20 World Cup: June 12 New York Weather Update – Will Rain Disrupt the Match

Rain gods were present at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York when India played Pakistan on June 9; however, alike the forecast for weather on Wednesday (June 12), there is unlikely to be a chance of interruptions to the game as co-hosts USA play Rohit Sharma’s India in the exact same stadium.

It rained two times during the India against Pakistan match, in which clouds of overcast welcomed both teams to the venue. But the weather is predicted to be dry on Wednesday, when the US team aims to cause another victory, having already won all of their games so far in Group A.

USA started the tournament by winning against neighbouring Canada and then followed that up with their greatest victory in international cricket, in which they beat the 2009 T20 World Cup winners, Pakistan, in a Super Over conclusion. They went on to reach the top of the Group A.
But India displaced the USA from the top spot by winning Pakistan in a dramatic final with a score of six. This was India’s second victory in the competition, and they also crushed Ireland in their opening match with six wickets.


The team that wins the match on Wednesday will be able to qualify for the ‘Super Eight’ with the remaining four teams battling to secure second place in the group.
