T20 World Cup 2024 Points Table, Team Standings This year’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA is advancing toward reaching the Super 8 stage with teams fighting hard to advance to the next stage.

Five teams, including India are through to the Super 8 stage with a few remaining group matches for the time being.

It is also the one group that is decided with West Indies and Afghanistan qualifying for the next round, whereas Uganada, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand have been eliminated.

South Africa were the first team to make it into the Super 8 followed by Australia while the Rohit Sharma-led side was the third team. West Indies were the next to advance, but Afghanistan secured their spot by securing their spot with a dominant seven-wicket victory over PNG on the 13th of June, 13.

The day before, England put up an extraordinary performance to claim their first victory in the tournament. They outclassed PNG across all departments and also recorded the fastest running chase of T20 WC history.

A handful of matches remain during the first stage prior to the Super 8 stage kicks off on June 19th, Wednesday.
